Synopsis
Based on the story of the Pleynet twins. At the age of 18, the Vallois sisters were admitted to the Karlsruhe University of Music under the eminent Klaus Lenhardt. It was the dream of their father, who had given up everything to make them the best. But an orphan’s disease affects the hands of one of them and stops her in her tracks. While her sister shines, it isn’t long before she suffers the same fate. Unable to imagine their lives without the piano, the twins work together to develop a technique that is unique in the world, making them more ‘prodigious’ than ever…
